At Millennium Smiles, dental implants are a cutting-edge solution we offer to replace missing teeth. These implants are artificial tooth roots made from biocompatible titanium, surgically placed into your jawbone. Over time, the implant fuses with the bone, creating a stable foundation for a custom-made crown, bridge, or denture. Our dental implants are designed to look, feel, and function just like natural teeth, providing a long-lasting, durable solution that preserves your jawbone health and enhances both your smile and confidence.
While the healing process can take several months, the durability and longevity of dental implants make them an excellent investment in your oral health. With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime.
The dental implant process begins with booking a consultation with our dental team to discuss your options and set a personalized treatment plan. During your visit, we will conduct a thorough examination of your oral health to determine your suitability for implants. The surgical placement of the titanium implant is then performed under local anesthesia or sedation. After surgery, a healing period of 3 to 6 months is necessary for the bone to integrate with the implant, ensuring optimal stability. Finally, once healing is complete, a custom crown is attached, completing your new smile.
A long-term solution exists for individuals who have lost teeth due to injury, decay, or other reasons.
Stimulation of the jawbone helps maintain its density and structure, thus preserving your facial appearance.
These restorations are designed to look and feel like natural teeth, allowing you to smile with confidence, knowing they are indistinguishable from your other teeth.
To understand why dental implants offer such unparalleled stability, it helps to understand how they are built. Unlike traditional restorations that rest solely on top of the gums, a complete dental implant replication system mimics the natural structure of a tooth from root to crown. It consists of three essential components:
This is a small, biocompatible screw meticulously positioned into the jawbone during a precise surgical procedure. Because titanium integrates naturally with living bone tissue, it functions seamlessly as a replacement root structure, establishing an immovable foundation.
Once the implant post has fully integrated with your jawbone through a natural healing process called osseointegration, a small connector piece called an abutment is securely attached to the top of the post. This serves as the anchor point that will hold your new tooth.
The final, visible element is a custom-fabricated tooth restoration. Crafted from premium, lifelike materials, it is precisely shaded and contoured to match your surrounding teeth perfectly, restoring full chewing capacity and aesthetic balance.

Dr. Aly will help you understand all the procedure and will give you all the options for saving your teeth. I can see that she trully cares for her patient. Thank you Dr. Aly and Mam Jovie for your help! Kudos to your team!Posted on Ritz Crizelle MabilenSeptember 8, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I went to get my dental filling done by another clinic a week before, and I was very dissatisfied. Upon drilling, my previous dentist recommended for extraction right away. And that was two of my molars. I did not want them extracted so I ended up leaving that other clinic with temporary filling on two of my molars which are essential for biting, and it was very uncomfortable. In just a few days, I could feel the temporary filling disintegrating-- I wanted to cry. Then I found this clinic. Dra Aly did not give up on my teeth. She said my molars were still viable for permanent filling, when a week ago I was told I'd lose them. Dr A is such a blessing! She applied medicine on my teeth and did a remarkable job on the permanent filling of my molars. They look good as new! And the color of their filling is very close to the color of my teeth. I'm also comfortable eating because the fillings are strong. I love it! Would recommend this clinic 100%.Posted on Sarah SillanoSeptember 1, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Highly recommended! If you've been looking for a dentist on social media, for sure you'd see posts poking fun at missed appointments and/or unhealthy habits. And though these might cater to some folks, these make me uncomfortable. This made me try Millennium Smiles when there are other clinics nearby. Doc A and staff are professional, accommodating, caring, and very understanding. I'm terrified of dentist visits, hence I delay them for as long as possible, but I feel comfortable and cared for at Millennium Smiles. Really cannot recommend them enough.
If you are missing one, several, or an entire arch of teeth, you are likely an excellent candidate for dental implant treatment at Millennium Smiles. However, a successful and long-lasting implant placement relies on a few key health criteria that our dental experts evaluate during your initial consultation:

While implant surgery involves drilling into the jawbone, you'll be under local anesthesia, so you shouldn't feel pain during the procedure. However, some discomfort is expected after the anesthesia wears off, which can be managed with over-the-counter pain medication. The pain level varies from person to person, and most patients report mild to moderate discomfort that subsides within a few days.
Dental implants are designed to be a permanent solution for missing teeth. The titanium post, which acts as the artificial tooth root, is implanted into the jawbone and fuses with the bone through a process called osseointegration. This creates a strong bond that can last a lifetime. However, the crown, which is the visible part of the implant, may need to be replaced over time due to wear and tear. With proper care, dental implants can last for decades, and in many cases, a lifetime.
Dental implants are considered a safe and effective treatment option for tooth loss. The materials used, primarily titanium, are biocompatible, meaning they are well-tolerated by the body. However, as with any surgical procedure, there are potential risks and complications. These can include infection, nerve damage, implant rejection, and sinus problems. The success rate of dental implants is high, with most implants lasting for many years.
In some cases, dental implants can be placed in a single day, a procedure known as same-day implants or immediate loading. This is possible when the patient has sufficient bone density and other factors are favorable. However, traditional implant placement usually involves multiple stages and healing periods, taking several months to complete. Your dentist will determine if you are a candidate for same-day implants based on your individual needs and oral health.
A dental implant is a titanium post that is surgically placed into the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. The implant fuses with the bone over time, creating a strong foundation for a new tooth. Once the implant has integrated with the bone, an abutment is attached to the implant, which acts as a connector for the crown. The crown, which is the visible part of the implant, is custom-made to match your natural teeth in shape, size, and color. Dental implants function just like natural teeth, allowing you to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.
The timeline varies widely depending on your body's natural healing rate and whether preparatory procedures, like extractions or bone grafts, are required. Typically, the entire process spans between 3 to 6 months. A significant portion of this time is simply waiting for the implant to securely integrate with your jawbone before the final custom crown is attached.
Caring for dental implants is incredibly straightforward because they behave exactly like your natural teeth. You will brush them at least twice a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush, floss daily (paying close attention to the gumline around the implant), and visit Millennium Smiles for routine cleanings and evaluations.
